The Denver Broncos were a field goal away from handing the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season Sunday afternoon.
But the Chiefs defense came through.
With the Broncos down 16-14 and within field goal range, Will Lutz came out to kick the 35-yarder. But it was blocked by the Chiefs as time expired to keep their undefeated record alive.

Sunday’s victory marked Kansas City’s ninth win of the season and 15th straight win dating back to last season. Eight of those wins have been comebacks.
The Broncos had a 14-3 lead over the Chiefs in the first half, but they were unable to score again for the rest of the game and fell to 5-5 on the season.
The Chiefs remain the team to beat in the NFL. Next up is an AFC showdown with the Buffalo Bills, who moved to 8-2 in Week 10 after a win over the Indianapolis Colts.
