Celtics injury report: 2 players upgraded for Game 4 vs. Pacers

INDIANAPOLIS — The Celtics will have some bench help back in the lineup for Game 4 Monday night as they try to close out their series against the Pacers. Luke Kornet (sprained wrist) is available after a one game absence. Jrue Holiday (illness) has been upgraded from questionable to available as well. Kristaps Porzingis (calf strain) remains out for the 10th straight game.

There were multiple reports that Porzingis could target a return for Game 4 but the team is likely exercising caution with their big man with the team in control of the Pacers series with a 3-0 edge.

With the potential of another week off before the start of the NBA Finals next week on Thursday, Porzingis should benefit from the added rest.

The Pacers will be without Tyrese Haliburton for Game 4 due to a hamstring strain according to Rick Carlisle. The All-Star point guard suffered the injury in Game 2 of the East Finals and the team is exercising caution with their young guard after he dealt with the same injury during the regular season.

The Celtics and Pacers tip off Game 4 at 8 p.m. at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Monday night.
