In the last week, the Knights have beaten two of the top teams I the state in the Hawks and the Pioneers. Winning both games 4-3, CM jumped to No. 2 in this week’s Catholic Conference baseball power rankings.
Saint John’s rebounded well from the loss, beating Chelmsford 4-3 and retains the top spot this week.
With the defeat, Xaverian slides slightly, moving to third. They will face a major test going up to Danvers on Wednesday.
Doing nothing wrong and on a four-game winning streak, St. John’s Prep moves to No. 4 due to CM’s jump.
The other Eagles also had a strong week but due slip back as well. They have a chance to jump back up when they host the Knights on Wednesday.
