A black Dodge Challenger was speeding before it lost control, continued through an intersection and hit a Starbucks in Walpole on Wednesday, according to the Walpole Police Department.
Police said the car was driving south on Route 1 “at a high rate of speed” when it hit a utility pole near the intersection on Route 27 in Walpole. It continued into the intersection and hit a building that had a Starbucks in it, police said.
Dashcam video obtained by WCVB shows the car heading toward the intersection on its left side two wheels.
Police shared photos of the car after it hit the Starbucks with smashed windows. The car drove through the patio seating and hit the inside dining area, pictures show.

A Starbucks worker got minor injuries in the crash, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
