The Sagamore Bridge spanning the Cape Cod Canal reopened late Friday after a fatal car crash earlier in the evening, according to state officials.
The Massachusetts State Police said the crash occurred on the bridge’s westbound side, part of Route 6.
It was one of two fatal car crashes troopers responded to Friday evening, in addition to one on the northbound side of Route 24 in Taunton, the state police said.
