Buyers beware! Mass. sellers not required to tell potential home purchasers about flood damage

Massachusetts homebuyers are at risk of increased home damage and out-of-pocket flood damage costs due to a lack of disclosure laws.

In 14 states, including the Bay State, sellers are not required to tell home buyers if there has been flooding at a home, leaving families vulnerable to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to address flood damage.
