Mercy Medical Center in Springfield has been named one of America’s Best Hospitals by the Women’s Choice Award. The 2025 awards are in the specialties of bariatric surgery, cancer care, orthopedics and mammogram imaging.
The methodology combines national accreditations, Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey results and hospital outcome scores with primary research about women’s health care preferences.

Kubala Home Improvement in Ludlow announced the winners of its annual Whole Home Window Giveaway, Sean and Michelle Walker from Belchertown. On Feb. 18, the Kubala team visited their home to deliver new windows, valued at $25,000.
Each year, Kubala Home Improvement selects a local homeowner who can benefit from an upgrade. This year’s winners were previous customers who had replaced several windows with Kubala over the summer.

The Connecticut Airport Authority announces that Breeze Airways is adding a new route from Bradley International Airport.
Beginning June 6, Breeze will begin summer seasonal service between Bradley and Greensboro-Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The flight will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
