The Brownies defeated the Bombers in straight sets to capture the state title at Worcester State on Thursday evening.
On Wednesday night, the Westfield boys volleyball team took on West Springfield in a mid-week match-up. In return, the Bombers defeated in straight sets to earn their 13th shutout of the season.
