Boston’s Seaport Sweat returns for its 10th year of free outdoor fitness

Get ready, fitness fans: Seaport Sweat, Boston’s free outdoor workout series, is back for its milestone 10th season this summer.

Held on the expansive Seaport Common, the community event runs from May through the end of September, offering residents and visitors an inclusive opportunity to break a sweat by the waterfront at no cost.

This year’s lineup is filled with more than 100 free fitness classes, spanning everything from high-intensity intervals to mind-body flow sessions.

Weekday evenings from Monday to Thursday feature dual classes at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., while Saturdays bring single sessions at 10 a.m. The schedule is thoughtfully designed to accommodate a variety of interests and fitness levels.

New offerings in 2025 bring even more excitement.

Sponsored by Mass General Brigham Health Plan, participants can enjoy the convenience of a hydration station, complete with a water fountain, bottle refill station and even a dog bowl for furry friends.

Still going strong is the “Stretch and the City” series, courtesy of Lifeway Kefir. The restorative yoga sessions return to the Summer Street Steps, running Fridays at noon through Sept. 26.

From mornings to evenings, Seaport Sweat blends fitness with community, overlooking Boston’s stunning waterfront. If you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out, this series offers an inclusive atmosphere to move, connect and recharge.

Seaport Sweat wraps up for the season on Sept. 27.
