CHESTER — An official overseeing the town of Chester’s water system said the boil water order issued in late July won’t be lifted until the community can meet a handful of requirements set by the state.
“I’m not sure how long it’ll take to fix the issues,” said Jim Zimmerman, one of the town’s three water commissioners, in a phone interview.
