Board wants restoration work on Westfield land where cannabis farm was planned

WESTFIELD — The Conservation Commission is looking for proof that restoration work was done for a large clearing of trees off Medeiros Way, in preparation for a cannabis-growing facility.

Conservation Director Anna Meassick showed the commission aerial photos of the plot, owned by L7 Holdings LLC, which is managed by Jeffry Baksa. A swath of trees present in 2020 was gone in 2021. The clearing was done within the buffer zone of a wetland.
