A scathing report from federal officials censuring the Worcester Police Department for gender and racial bias has left the city bitterly divided along pro- and anti-police lines.
A gaping distance between residents’ opposing worldviews was on full display at a raucous City Council meeting Tuesday night. The meeting was so well-attended that dozens of people stood outside the City Council chamber waiting to speak during public comment.
