A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Sunday at 6:42 a.m. for freezing drizzle until 10 a.m. for Southern Worcester as well as Hampshire, Hampden, Norfolk, Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.
“As the snowfall continues to wind down this morning, pockets of freezing rain or freezing drizzle are possible. A light glaze of ice may result. Roads may remain slippery, especially if untreated. Motorists need to be exercise caution and be prepared for hazardous travel,” says the weather service.
