U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton, D-6th District, defended his statement about transgender people to the New York Times, saying the backlash he has received only proves his point about the Democratic Party’s inability to have difficult conversations.
Moulton told the Times in an interview following Vice President Kamala Harris’ defeat in Tuesday’s presidential election, “Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face.”
