PHOENIX — Sure, it’s slowly starting to get warmer in Boston now that it’s March. But the weather in Phoenix for the Celtics on Friday was perfect, hovering around the 70s with plenty of sunlight to go around. So with a rare off-day in amazing weather, some members of the C’s went golfing.
That’s perhaps exactly what the Celtics needed as they were in the middle of an equally-rare losing streak. Jayson Tatum revealed after the Celtics beat the Suns that he won some money after the golf outing, though he declined to disclose how much. But it was the perfect chance to enjoy the weather while getting to bond with teammates.
