Embattled Amherst School Committee member Peter Demling — the former chair of the Union #26 committee — and the chair of the Pelham School Committee, Sarah Hall, both resigned from their posts last week, bringing the number of high-profile resignations among the Amherst-Pelham schools to five.
That includes Superintendent Michael Morris, former Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee chairman Ben Herrington and Amherst School Committee chair Allison McDonald.
