WELLESLEY – The Needham field hockey team held off one of the most prolific offenses in the Bay State League for over 50 minutes of play. But Wellesley, averaging 3.7 goals per game, finally made it through Needham’s defense on a corner to take the lead with just eight minutes remaining.
Senior Alexa Snyder was the hero, grabbing a ball from junior Kayla Bohlin and putting it into the net for her fifth season goal.
