AGAWAM — An effort to improve pedestrian safety around an Agawam elementary school recently received a significant boost in government funding.
The William P. Sapelli Elementary School, formerly known as Robinson Park Elementary School, will be the location of Agawam’s upcoming project through the Safe Routes to School program. The estimated total cost of the project is about $4.16 million.
