Acting governor talks up early in-person voting in Springfield ahead of Sept. 3 primary

SPRINGFIELD — William Galvin, the Massachusetts secretary of state, heralded the approach of early in-person voting in remarks from the steps of Springfield’s City Hall Wednesday morning.

The ability to vote in person before a presidential election is mandated in Massachusetts for the first time this year.
