Under leaden skies, the hardiest of the Will Bike 4 Food riders lined up for a 7 a.m. start Sunday to launch the 13th annual charity ride to benefit the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. These are the riders who will, eventually, cover the 100-mile course.
The 15 or so who took on the longest ride of the circuits are just a small part of the approximately 335 riders who pedaled 50 or 25, or even 10 miles to make sure they did their part to help the food bank reach its $250,000 goal.
