HOLYOKE — White Hut — with its famous hamburgers slathered in even-more-famous fried onions — opens Tuesday in Holyoke.
Stepping into the new White Hut — a remodeled former PeoplesBank branch at 825 Hampden St. — reveals the vintage art deco look of the 84-year-old West Springfield landmark transplanted to Holyoke by the Yee family and their business partners Peter Picknelly, Holyoke businessman Mark Cutting and attorney Jack Ferriter.
