WORCESTER — Almost a year since running his way into the Portland record books, WooSox infielder David Hamilton is closing in on another milestone, tying the Red Sox’ Triple-A franchise record with his 51st stolen base on Friday night.
Hamilton opened eyes in 2022 when he stole 70 bases for the Sea Dogs, setting a new Red Sox Double-A mark in September at 65, and added five more in the last 11 games of the season to set a new record that will be tough to break.
