Neither a lineup shakeup nor the return to Hampus Lidholm could stop the Bruins’ losing streak.

They fell to 3-3-0 after opening 3-0. They’ll try to reverse course on Sunday when they travel to Salt Lake City to face the Utah Mammoth.
Boston managed just 14 shots on Scott Wedgewood and none of those were by David Pastrnak, Elias Lindholm or Morgan Geekie. Viktor Arvidsson, who’d been dropped to the third line, led the team with four of them.
Johnny Beecher, who made the Bruins out of training camp, was active for the first time this season. He made the most of his chance and scored the game’s opening goal.
But Boston, which had seven shots in the first, mustered only two in the second and five in the third.
Nathan MacKinnon scored twice, the tying goal in the first and another early in the third that stretched Colorado’s lead to 3-1 to put the game out of reach.
Jeremy Swayman made 34 saves in the loss.
Hampus Lindholm returned to the Bruins lineup and played 20:44. He had missed the last three games with an undisclosed lower-body injury.
