The Seekonk Warriors (6-5 last season) welcome the Pilgrim Patriots of Warwick, Rhode Island (7-4) in a cross-state clash Friday night. The teams did not meet during the 2024 campaign. Pilgrim comes in off last year’s playoff run, having advanced to the RIIL Division 3 semifinals. Seekonk, which failed to qualify for postseason play in 2024, will lean on senior standout Nico Bonafiglia, a playmaker at both wide receiver and defensive back. Sophomore quarterback Lucas Escaler is expected to handle the majority of snaps under center for the Warriors. Opening kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. CT on Friday, September 5 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.
