Where to watch Dallas Wings vs. Las Vegas Aces free WNBA stream today

The WNBA games on Sunday, Aug. 17 continue with a contest out West where the Las Vegas Aces are hosing the Dallas Wings at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.

The game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ABC. Fans looking to watch this WNBA game can do so for free by using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial. FuboTV offers up to $30 off your first month. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but has promotional offers available. ESPN+ plans are currently at $11.99 a month or $16.99 a month if you bundle with Hulu and Disney+.

The Aces are one of the hottest teams in The W, matching the Minnesota Lynx with a league-longest active win streak of six games. Since July 10 when the team fell to 9-11, Las Vegas has gone 1-3 with two of the losses coming to the league-leading Lynx. Their wins during that stretch include three against the Golden State Valkyries, one each against the second, third and fourth place teams, the Atlanta Dream, New York Liberty and Phoenix Mercury, and two against the Wings.

The Wings, who have the worst record in the West and third-worst in the whole league are 9-25 and will be without Arike Ogunbowale on Sunday. She was the leading scorer for Dallas when these teams last met, while Paige Bueckers was unavailable due to injury.

Las Vegas is looking for a season sweep on Sunday after already taking three games against the Wings in 2025. In two of the three previous victories, Jackie Young led the squad in scoring while A’ja Wilson posted 37 points in the other contest to lead the way.
