A shooting near a major Springfield intersection killed a man and left a woman seriously injured, according to the Springfield Police Department.
Springfield police reported that a man died from gunshot injuries after a shooting near the intersection of Boston Road and Parker Street.
Police responded to the area around 2:35 a.m. Saturday when they found two gunshot victims and the aftermath of a car crash. The second victim, a woman, was transported to Baystate Medical Center. She was identified as a driver in the crash.
