N.H. man dies after having medical emergency on plane landing at Boston Logan Airport

A New Hampshire man died Monday morning after having a medical emergency on a plane that was about to land at Boston Logan Airport, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

Massachusetts State Police troopers responded to Terminal C with paramedics, who took the man to Massachusetts General Hospital once the plane landed, State Police said in an email. The 69-year-old man was declared dead at the hospital, the district attorney’s office said in an email.

The flight was JetBlue flight 502, which took off from Phoenix shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday night and landed in Boston around 6:30 a.m. the next morning, The Boston Globe reported.

JetBlue did not respond to a request for information about the incident Tuesday evening. No further information has been released.
