
A person riding a motorcycle sustained life-threatening injuries after crashing on Interstate 95 in Attleboro Thursday morning, the city’s fire department said.
The fire department responded to the crash on the southbound side of the highway, near the Rhode Island state line, at around 9:51 a.m. Thursday. Arriving first responders found the motorcycle and its operator roughly 500 feet from where it collided with another vehicle, the fire department wrote on Facebook.
The driver of the motorcycle sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured, the fire department said.
The crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
