A 69-year-old man was killed in a rollover car crash on I-95 in Attleboro Sunday evening, according to the city’s fire department.
Attleboro firefighters responded to the single-vehicle crash around 7:25 p.m. and found that a car had rolled onto its side and come to rest in the woods next to the highway, the Attleboro Fire Department said in a press release. The driver was the only person in the car, but was unconscious and trapped inside.

Firefighters used extrication tools to free the man from the car, and paramedics performed CPR on him, the fire department said. He was taken by ambulance to Sturdy Memorial Hospital where he was later declared dead.
Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash, the fire department said. No further information, including the man’s identity, has been released.
