Following up on an incident last year in which nearly 50 migrants were sent to Martha’s Vineyard from Texas, Cape Cod’s top prosecutor wants an investigation into the person who claims to have sent them — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
District Attorney Robert J. Galibois, whose district includes the Cape and Islands of Massachusetts, reached out to Attorney General Merrick Garland on Monday to request federal investigators open a criminal and civil probe into the incident.
