Springfield mayoral candidates face the issues

Three of the five Democratic candidates running for Springfield mayor participated in a wide-ranging forum Saturday on a variety of issues.

Justin Hurst, Jesse Lederman and Orlando Ramos submitted to questions presented by members of the political action organization Neighbor 2 Neighbor, Enid Ramos and Areliz Barbosa, Saturday morning before a crowd of approximately 40 people at the Church in the Acres on Wilbraham Road. Candidates David Ciampi, a mental health counselor, and the incumbent mayor, Domenic J. Sarno, declined to attend.
