LOWELL — While No. 6 Georgetown boys basketball celebrated their state championship win on the court and in the crowd following the final buzzer, No. 5 Monument Mountain seniors Manny Brown, Isaiah Keefner, and Griffin McElroy embraced each other on the far baseline.
It was the end of a long road that started a decade ago when the trio began playing together, a road that stretched longer than most people other than them thought it would this winter.
