One of the schools in Westfield is closed due to a power outage on Friday.
Westfield High School is closed on March 7, officials announced on Facebook at 6:14 a.m.

There are about 6,105 customers without power as of Friday at 7 a.m. This includes about 2,420 National Grid customers and 3,685 from Eversource.

Wind gusts overnight ranged from 35-50 mph. It is expected to increase to 50-60 mph early Friday morning and continue until sundown, the National Weather Service said.
