Police have blocked off at least a three-block stretch of Park Avenue in Worcester Wednesday evening due to what at least one officer on the scene described as a reported shooting.
Park Avenue was shut down around Auto Zone in the area of 248 Park Ave. from Pleasant Street to Elm Street, down the road from Elm Park, as of 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
At least 16 police vehicles could be seen, with officers clearly investigating a situation and some taking photos. No official information has yet been provided by the Worcester Police Department.
