Shane O’Connor and Greg Keane gave a boost to Longmeadow with their performances in the PVIAC Week 5 events at Smith College in Northampton.
O’Connor notched first place in the boys 55-meter race with a time of 6.754, barely edging out teammate Lucas Doben, who finished with a time of 6.759. O’Connor also finished first in the boys long jump competition and took home the second place spot in the 300-meter race.
