SPRINGFIELD — Christmas came a few days early for parents Yeliann Ayala and Martin Figueroa, as their 5-year-old daughter, Arianne, was sent home from Franciscan Children’s hospital in Boston on Monday morning.
The pair were told about the possibility of Arianne being strong and stable enough to travel to their Springfield home a few weeks prior, but weren’t sure if it was actually possible.
