The Worcester Historical Museum is opening an exhibit detailing the history of a sport that originated in Massachusetts’ second-largest city — candlepin bowling.
The exhibit is the result of a partnership between the museum and the International Candlepin Bowling Association (ICBA), which approached the museum with artifacts and the idea of holding an exhibit on the sport, according to Vanessa Bumpus, the museum’s exhibit coordinator.
