Endicott College to hold gathering for police sergeant killed in crash

An Endicott College police sergeant who was killed after colliding with a wrong-way driver on Interstate 95 in Newbury on his way home to Exeter, New Hampshire will be remembered at a gathering Monday morning as students return to campus.

The event will be held at 9 a.m. in the school’s Center for Belonging to “collectively process this loss.” Comfort dogs will be available in a campus building this week.

Jeremy Cole was driving home early Thanksgiving morning after leaving his shift on the campus when he was struck head-on in his Chevrolet Trailblazer by a wrong-way driver on I-95 northbound, according to a statement from Endicott College Chief of Police Kerry Ramsdell.
