Over the past few weeks, MassLive has asked field hockey coaches and athletic directors to reflect on their teams—specifically, the unsung heroes who make their programs successful.
For some, that’s a player that switched positions for the betterment of the team. For others its the quiet leader that supported their classmates on and off the field. They may be the most improved, or they may not ever make the stats sheet, but they’ve made a massive impact this fall.
