Massachusetts State Police arrested a correction officer Saturday in connection with smuggling drugs into a state prison, according to the state Department of Correction.
Correction Officer Roxsandra Wright is facing a charge of delivering an article to a prisoner in connection with allegations that she brought synthetic cannabinoid-laced paper into MCI-Shirley, the state correction department said in a press release Sunday. She has resigned from the correction department, effective Oct. 31, and is set to be arraigned on Monday.
