On the same day the Patriots got good news about their own quarterback’s health, the Titans weren’t as fortunate.
While Drake Maye came out of concussion protocol Saturday and will likely start Sunday at 1 p.m. in Nashville, Tennessee starter Will Levis will stay on the shelf.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the update and tweeted:
“Titans QB Mason Rudolph is expected to start vs. the Patriots while QB Will Levis continues to recovery from his shoulder injury, per sources. Titans RB Tony Pollard, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a foot injury, is expected to play vs. the Patriots, as is WR Tyler Boyd, who is listed as questionable due to a shoulder injury.”
Levis has a shoulder injury he suffered in Week 4 vs. Miami. The Titans are 0-2 when Rudolph starts. The journeyman former Pittsburgh Steeler is 56-of-95 for 566 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in lopsided losses to Buffalo and Detroit.
At 1-6, the Titans have the worst record in the AFC and are just a half-game ahead of the Panthers for the bottom spot in the NFL.
