AGAWAM – After fending off a momentous comeback attempt, Agawam football team defeated Amherst, 42-40, on Friday night.
Agawam (4-4, 2-3 Suburban South) watched the Hurricanes (4-4, 3-2 Suburban South) almost come all the way back from trailing 36-6 in the third quarter at Smith Field.
