Reading police are hoping to identify a pickup truck they say hit an officer in the elbow during a traffic stop Saturday evening.
The officer was in the midst of a traffic stop near 326 Lowell St. when they were struck by the truck’s sideview mirror just before 7:30 p.m., Reading police said in a press release. The pickup was traveling east on Lowell Street and turned south onto Willow Street after hitting the officer.
