Cornelius Shea, an independent candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2nd Massachusetts District, calls himself a J.F.K. Democrat and says he’s focusing on three issues: immigration, inflation and a call for term limits.
“I didn’t leave the Democratic Party; the Democratic Party left me when it got taken over by the progressives,” Shea, a former Marine born in Springfield now living in Shrewsbury. He’s worked as a teacher and in the telecommunications industry.
