Holyoke computer gets ‘quantum’ leap

HOLYOKE – The Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center and its Boston-based partner, QuEra Computing, plan to build a $16 million quantum computing complex in Holyoke over the next two years.

Massachusetts is the first state to back a quantum computing project. The leap in technology is expected to draw researchers and commercial users to Holyoke to tap the center’s unique capabilities.
