Merchants sign up for this evening’s trick-or-treat in downtown Westfield

WESTFIELD — More than three dozen businesses and nonprofits have signed up to participate in Westfield’s annual downtown trick-or-treat, sponsored by the mayor’s office and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield.

Costumed children and their families are welcome to trick-or-treat tonight, starting at 4 p.m. along the downtown section of Elm Street and side streets. Participating merchants will display a sign in their window reading “Trick-or-Treaters Welcome Here.”

Participating storefronts along Elm Street are: Alo Saigon, Cassin Insurance, Blended Vintage Marketplace, Chrissy G’s Bakery, CVS Pharmacy, Edward Jones Investments, En3rgy UP Juices, Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce, M&T Bank, Myers Information Systems, Park Square Realty, Re/Max, Responsible Driving School, Two Rivers Burritos, Vivid Hair Salon, Westfield Bank (Elm Street branch), Westfield Bank (Lending Center), Westfield Gas & Electric, Westfield on Weekends Creative Arts Center, Whip City Music and William Mis Insurance Agency.

Trick-or-treat sites along Broad Street are the American Legion, KeyBank and Witalisz & Associates Real Estate. Along Court Street, costumed children can visit A. Clarke Construction, Arbors Assisted Living, Berkshire Bank, Roger Butler/Greylock Insurance, and the Westfield Athenaeum (Children’s Library). Main Street participants are Dazzlers Salon, Domino’s Pizza, Rocky’s Ace Hardware, Simon Sez Pets, Subway and Wise Vapors.

Other businesses participating in the trick-or-treat are Dunn & Phillips PC and Maple Leaf Pub on Arnold Street: Santiago’s Restaurant on Franklin Street; and Be Bella Boutique and Honey Hair & Beauty on School Street.
