A 61-year-old man was shot in the face in the lobby of a hotel in North Attleborough late Monday night, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. on Monday at a Hampton Inn on Draper Avenue, the district attorney’s office said in a statement. First responders found the man with a gunshot wound to the face in the lobby.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. Investigators do not believe he was the intended target of the shooting, according to the statement.
