A 23-year-old man was flown to a Boston hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle collided with a car in Mansfield Wednesday afternoon, according to the town’s fire department.
First responders received a 911 call at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday reporting a crash between a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of North Main and South Main streets, the fire department wrote in a Facebook post. Arriving firefighters found a motorcycle rider with serious injuries.
The rescue crew at the scene called for a Boston MedFlight helicopter, which took the man to Massachusetts General Hospital.
