Man wanted in Mass. found ‘hiding’ at secluded campsite in Conn., police say

A man facing multiple charges in Massachusetts was arrested Monday at a secluded campsite in Connecticut where he had “been hiding for months,” the U.S. Marshals said.

Steven Labrecque, 40, was wanted by Franklin and New Bedford police in Massachusetts on charges of child pornography, photographing intimate parts of a child, intimidation of a witness, reckless endangerment of a child, threatening, obscene matter to a minor, assault, and battery.

Police in Franklin and New Bedford attempted to find Labrecque but were unsuccessful. However, U.S. Marshals found Labrecque at a Woodstock, Conn. “hideout.”
