A person was killed and another was injured in a double shooting in Fitchburg Sunday night, according to the Worcester County District Attorney’s office.
The shooting took place around 7 p.m. on Main Street, a spokesperson for the district attorney‘s office wrote in an email. The person killed was not immediately identified. The severity of the other person’s injuries was not immediately clear.
Main Street was closed for several hours as police investigated the shooting, WCVB-TV reported.
